Harvested Area and Rice Production in Sulawesi Tengah Province 2023

Data Collection of Integrated Food Crop Agriculture Statistics using the Area Sampling Framework (ASF) Method is an activity carried out through collaboration between the BPS-Statistics Indonesia with the Agency for the Assessment and Application of Technology (BPPT) the National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN) which is now merged into the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (Kementerian ATR/BPN), and the Geospatial Information Agency (BIG). This activity is included in the national project to support the achievement of one of the national priorities, namely food security in the context of improving food statistical data, which began to be implemented nationally in 2018. The main objective of this activity is to produce data on rice harvest areas that is objective, scientific, and involves the role of the latest technology, so that the rice production data collected becomes more accurate, fast, and timely. The Report on Harvest Area and Rice Production in Central Sulawesi 2023 presents the results of the implementation of ASF data collection during the year 2023. In addition, this report also presents information on the potential of rice cultivation obtained from field observations.
