Abstract

In March 2025, Central Sulawesi's exports reached US$1,870.51 million, reflecting a 23.39% increase from the previous month. The leading export commodity was Iron and Steel, valued at US$1,079.06 million (60.66%). China remained the top export destination with a value of US$818.93 million (43.78%). The majority of exports were shipped via Bahodopi Port, totaling US$1,652.33 million (74.09%). From January to March 2025, total exports stood at US$5,096.10 million, with 96.52% dispatched from within the province.
On the import side, the total value was US$783.50 million, a 36.36% decline from the previous month. The largest import group was Mineral Fuels, amounting to US$194.49 million (24.82%). China was also the main import source, contributing US$403.03 million (51.44%), with most goods arriving through Morowali Port (US$772.62 million or 98.61%). The trade balance in March 2025 recorded a surplus of US$1,087.01 million.
