Abstract

In 2024, the economy of Sulawesi Tengah—measured based on the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices—reached Rp376,950.32 billion, with a per capita GRDP of Rp120.75 million or US$7,618.64.
The economy of Sulawesi Tengah grew by 9.89 percent in 2024. On the production side, the Manufacturing Industry sector experienced the highest growth at 19.12 percent, while on the expenditure side, the Export of Goods and Services component recorded the highest growth at 18.87 percent.
In Q4 2024, the economy of Sulawesi Tengah grew by 10.29 percent compared to Q4 2023 (year-on-year). On the production side, the Manufacturing Industry sector experienced the highest growth at 22.35 percent, while on the expenditure side, the Export of Goods and Services component recorded the highest growth at 19.58 percent.
Comparing Q4 2024 to Q3 2024, the economy of Sulawesi Tengah grew by 2.72 percent (quarter-on-quarter). On the production side, the largest growth occurred in the Government Administration, Defense, and Social Security sector at 18.42 percent. On the expenditure side, the Government Consumption Expenditure (GCE) component recorded the highest growth at 45.54 percent.
