Abstract

During December 2024, total exports amounted to US$2,063.33 million, an increase of US$222.68 million or 12.10 percent compared to the previous month.
The largest contribution to exports came from iron and steel, valued at US$1,257.79 million or 60.96 percent of the total export value.
China was the main export destination, with a value of US$950.50 million or 46.07 percent of the total export value.
Bahodopi Port played a role in exports worth US$1,376.10 million or 66.69 percent of the total export value.
From January to December 2024, total exports were recorded at US$21,337.24 million, with Central Sulawesi contributing US$21,236.86 million and other provinces US$100.38 million.
During December 2024, total imports amounted to US$915.91 million, an increase of US$115.62 million or 14.45 percent compared to the previous month.
The largest contribution to imports came from mineral fuels, valued at US$295.19 million or 32.23 percent of the total import value.
China was the largest country of origin for imports, with a value of US$492.01 million or 53.72 percent of the total import value.
Morowali Port played a role in imports worth US$868.17 million or 94.79 percent of the total import value.
From January to December 2024, total imports were recorded at US$10,796.39 million.
