• During January 2024, total exports were valued at US$1,745.02 million, an increase of US$89.10 million or 5.38 percent compared to the previous month. 
• The largest contribution to exports came from iron and steel worth US$1,159.55 million or 66.45 percent of the total export value. 
• China is the main destination country for exports worth US$795.95 million or 45.61 percent of the total export value. 
• Bahodopi Port plays a role worth US$1,367.49 million or 78.37 percent of total export value. 
• During January 2024, the total export value was recorded at US$1,745.02 million, via Sulawesi Central amounting to US$ 1,742.40 million and other provinces amounting to US$ 2.62 million.

B. Import

• During January 2024, total imports were worth US$898.72 million, down US$149.98 million or down 14.30 percent compared to the previous month.
• The largest contribution to imports came from mineral fuels worth US$208.75 million or 23.23 percent of the total import value. 
• China is the country of origin for the largest imports worth US$449.96 million or 50.07 percent of the total import value. 
• Poso Port plays a role worth US$538.61 million or 59.93 percent of the total value import. 
• During January 2024, the total export and import surplus value was recorded at US$846.30 million.
